Wedding at The Cruz Building | Ana + Johannes

In the very heart of Coconut Grove, the Cruz Building is a tri-level venue that offered the glamorous back drop for Ana and Johannes’ wedding day.  From the grand staircase and the ornate iron worked balconies to the magnificent stained-glass windows and bright outdoor terrace, this place did not lack in elegance.  Ana and Johannes were able to really take advantage of all of the beauty that the Cruz Building had to offer by opting to do a First Look prior to their ceremony.  Every aspect of this wedding was romantic and simply extraordinary… just like the couple themselves!

Sneak Peek: Wedding at the Coral Gables Congregational Church: Elyse + Rickie

Earlier today we blogged about Elyse and Rickie’s engagement session and we promised a sneak peek of their big day.  The wait is over! This couple truly enjoyed their wedding from their warm-hearted ceremony at Coral Gables Congregational Church to their stunning reception at Coral Gables Country Club.  It was truly a spectacular day that was simply a joy to capture!

South Florida Engagement Session: Elyse + Rickie

This engagement session was such a good time to shoot and it all had to do with this vivacious couple!  Elyse and Rickie commenced the day at the beautiful and historic Deering Estate and ended with some fun at the Firehouse where he works.  Please stay tuned later on today for a sneak peek of their wedding day which was equally as delightful to shoot.  In the meantime… enjoy their images!

And the blogging marathon begins.  I can go back to November 2012, as the vault is full of goodies. With 37 weddings shot since and countless engagement sessions, the blogs will be coming,  if time allows it, every week. I am starting with Nicole and John. Their wedding took place at the Postcard Inn Beach Resort in Islamorada, Florida. Weddings at the Florida Keys are always so much fun and relaxed. That is exactly what this day was all about: Palm trees, ocean breeze and good times. With amazing friends, great family and a super fun couple, how can this not be enjoyable? I had a great time capturing their day. Enjoy some of my favorites.

Miami Dolphins Engagement Session at Sun Life Stadium featured on popular wedding blog “Floridian Weddings”

Engagement Session at the Barnacle in Coconut Grove: Jorian + Hector

I’m starting this Thursday taking a moment to brag about our couples… we have the most caring, thoughtful, and selfless individuals in the world and  having the opportunity to share their journeys and tell their stories is what makes this amazing job fulfilling. But enough of how I feel, today we’re blogging about Jorian and Hector. They just felt so comfortable in front of the camera. I had an amazing time walking the streets of Coconut Grove and getting to know them a little more while capturing sweet little moments here and there. South Florida Engagement Session: Leidi + Francis

Today to the blog I bring you Leidi and Francis’ engagement. This is one of the sweetest couple I had the pleasure of shooting. Their wedding is just days away and I can’t wait to take part of it and create amazing memories for them to cherish for years to come. Enjoy!

Wedding at the Hollywood Beach Marriott: Sevie + Mike

With forty four weddings shot in 2012, twenty one already shot in 2013 and seventeen  more booked for the remainder of this year, it is needless to say that it has been difficult for me to blog about each one.

I finally came to the conclusion that with the amount of events I am booking,  the increased number of photo sessions and with all the other day to day tasks, I was going to need extra assistance. Therefore, I am happy to introduce my new staff member-Annie. You may recall her from a previous blog about our recent trip to Charleston, SC. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you may already be familiar with her face from the pics I post about our mini-adventures. My Facebook followers have certainly had a peek of our recent trip to Las Vegas where we attended the WPPI Conference while sneaking in a little sight seeing to the Grand Canyon. I am confident and excited that my new addition will help increase productivity and allow me to share more of the fabulous events I have the pleasure of shooting.

That being said, some of the weddings that I will be blogging about in the next few weeks have been shot some time ago. However, with the amazing time I had shooting these weddings and with the great relationships I have built, I want to make sure that each of them are shared with all of you.

For example, Sevie and Mike are a couple who have stayed in touch with me via facebook the last few months since their wedding. Reading their daily status updates on Facebook are a constant reminder of how much fun I had shooting their special day due to the fact that they have such a great sense of humor. So I am happy to share their photos with you and let the pictures tell the story.  Stay tuned, many more to come!

Engagement Session at Fisher Island: Laurie + Ernie

This week has been amazing shooting our lovely couples’ engagement sessions and we’re starting this Thursday with one that was captured a couple of weeks ago. Laurie and Ernie’s sexy and fun engagement session took place at the exclusive Fisher Island. Getting full access to Sun Life stadium does not happen often. This awesome couple both met while working together for the Miami Dolphins, so the only imaginable thing to do was to start their engagement session where their love began.
